Fire Detection and Fire Alarm System

FD & FAS Consist with number of devices working together to detect and warn people through visual and audio appliances so that we can take action to protect ourselves, staff and environment.

This type of system normally used in offices, Industries and societies, companies, complexes, Mall, Big shops, Solar plants etc.

Fire control panel is hart of this system. It’s the only device which controls all system.

Different types of fire alarm detectors

There are different types of fire alarm detectors devices which work on specific application.

1. Heat detectors
2. Smoke detectors
3. Carbon Monoxide detectors
4. Multi-sensor detectors
5. Manual call points

1. Heat Detectors

This device work on temperature. This device work on fixed temperature basis, where alarm system trigger if the temperature exceed a pre-set value.

2. Smoke Detectors

Smoke detector work on Ionization, Light scattering and Light obscuring.

3. Carbon Monoxide detectors.

Carbon monoxide detectors are known also as CO fire detectors are electronics detectors used to indicate the outbreak of fire by sensing the level of carbon monoxide in the air.

4. Multi-Sensor Detectors

The multi-sensor detectors combine inputs from both optical and heat sensors and process them using a sophisticated algorithm built into the detector circuitry.

When polled by the control panel the detector returns a value based on the combined responses from both the optical and heat sensors. They are designed to be sensitive to a wide range of fires.

5. Manual call points

A Manual call point or break glass call points is a device which enables personnel to raise the alarm by breaking the frangible elements on the fascia this then triggers the alarms.

Manual call points require human intervention for operation. Operation of the call points shall cause a change in loop current to be detected at the fire and gas control panel.

Different Types of Fire Alarm Systems

Fire alarm system is divided in four types.

1. Conventional
2. Addressable
3. Intelligent
4. Wireless

1.Conventional fire alarm systems

In a Conventional fire alarm system, physical cabling is used to interconnect several call points and detectors, the signal from which is wired back to the main control unit.

Call points and detectors are arranged in zone to simplify locating the cause of the alarm, this is important for both the fire brigade and general building management.

Each zone is indicated at the fire alarm control panel either with an indicator lamp, a text display or in some cases both.

It makes sense that the more we can divide a building into zones, the more accurate locating the alarm trigger will be.

The control panel is wired to a minimum of two sounder circuits which could contain bells, electronic sounder or other audible devices. It is these devices which sound the alarm when triggered.

2. Addressable Fire Alarm Systems.

The detection principle of an addressable system is the same as a conventional system except that each detector is given a set address and the control panel can then determine exactly which detector or call point has initiated the alarm.

The detection circuit is wired as a loop and up to 99 devices may be connected to each loop.

It is common for the loop to be fitted with loop isolation modules so that the loop is sectioned in order to ensure that a short circuit or single fault will only cause the loss of a small part of the system, allowing the rest of the system to function normally. In the conventional fire alarm system and the Addressable fire alarm system the detectors are not consider intelligent as they can only give output signals representing the value of detected phenomena.

Security Systems

Security system is a basic requirement of human being and this could be hardware security and personal security. We are one of the leading security system providers in Mumbai. Where our products includes Security hardware like CCTV Surveillance system, Access Control, Video Surveillance etc.

CCTV Surveillance System

CCTV Systems provide surveillance capabilities used in the protection of people, assets or properties. A CCTV system links a camera to a video monitor using cable and this system have many components with its variety of function and requirements. CCTV uses components that are directly connected to generate, transmit, display and store video data. Flexion energy provides low cost CCTV solutions where we save cost of our customers. We provide CCTV solutions Housing Society, Shops, Jewelry shops, offices, malls and corporates.

Access Control

In the case of physical and information security we need to go with access control system.

This system performs different types of function.

1.Control entry and exit points of specific area.

2.Biometric system use physical data measurement and authorization for access.

3.Barriers and crash gates access.

This system permit authorized person to enter and exit and maintain records of access control system. Access control system is one of the simple and easy solutions provided by us we cater the system across industries in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai region.
